Upon approval of the application, the applicant will have to sign the User Agreement for the use of the GreenLabel. The applicant will have to comply with the terms and conditions of the User Agreement. The average application will be processed within four (4) to five (5) weeks after the final application has been received with all relevant supporting documents compliance with the SGLS Criterion the product falls under. If the SGLS Secretariat feels that the documentation is incomplete in any manner the applicant will need to resubmit all documentation in compliance with the requests of the SGLS Secretariat. Resubmission's are considered as new applications and thus the application timeline will reset to process this new application. (With effect from 8 October 2008)

 The onus of compliancy with the GreenLabel Criterion and efficient processing of an application lies with the applicant. We strongly suggest any applicant seeking the SGLS endorsement review their submission and all documents meticulously in to insure compliance to to the relative Criterion prior to application.

Fees and Payment
This fees does not include testing of any products.

New Fees Structure for each Product Criterion and its endorsement period has changed as of 1 January 2009:

Example: 001 = Stationery Paper

Example: If you have 10 models/products under a category and different varsities of the products fall under several categories you will be charged accordingly (1 product x 1 category = $350 ; 1 product x 3 categories = $1050)

Payment will only be required once you have been awarded the use of the GreenLabel through an official invoice sent to your organisation along side an the User Agreement licence. Payment in full is required within three (3) weeks from the issuance of this invoice to maintain your endorsement.

For payment please make cheque payable to the 'SINGAPORE ENVIRONMENT COUNCIL'.

Additional Optional Services and Fees

The below services, if required, must be clearly stated in the cover letter that accompanies the SGLS Application form requesting for endorsement:

• Express Processing (3 days working only) : SGD $1000 / application
• Rapid Processing (one week / 5 work days) : SGD $500 / application
• Change of Product Name (includes new User Agreements): SGD $100 / product
• Additional Prints of User Agreements : SGD $20 / document
