| 1) Alkaline Battery (GLS-006-02) | It must not contain more than 10ppm of mercury. Applicant needs to submit a sample for test at accredited SAC-SINGLAS (The Singapore Laboratory Accreditation Scheme) Laboratories. Application shall be accompanied by a test report. |
| 2) Compact Fluorescent Lamps (Integral) (GLS-007-02) | a)Ballast
& adaptor in a single assembly. b) The energy efficacy of the lamp must be at least 50 lumens/watt The lamp must not contain more than 10mg of mercury. c) Cadmium and arsenic must not be used as raw materials in lamp manufacture |
| 3) Compact Fluorescent Lamps (Modular) (GLS-008-02) | a)Separate
ballast & adaptor i) At least 50 lumens/watt if the lamp is smaller than 10 watts ii) At least 60 lumens/watt if the lamp is between 10 watts and 30 watts (both inclusive) iii) At least 75 lumens/watt if the lamp is larger than 30 watts. b) The lamp must not contain more than 10mg of mercury. c) Cadmium and arsenic must not be used as raw materials in lamp manufacture. |
