Qualifying Criteria (Part I )
1) Correction Fluids and Correction Tapes (GLS-015-04) 1a) Must not contain the solvent "1,1,1 trichloroethane"
1b) Must not contain substances which are established to be carcinogenic or toxic as specified below.
Personal Care products

 

2) Hairsprays and Hair Gels/Mousse (GLS-016-04)

2a) Must not contain CFCs and HCFCs
2b) Must not contain substances which are established to be carcinogenic or toxic as specific below

3) Deodorant sticks, rollers & spray (GLS-017-04)
4) Shaving foams and creams (GLS-018-04)
For item 1b) & 2b) The Chief Executive Officer or equivalent of the manufacturer is required to declare that their products do not contain any known substances established to be carcinogenic or toxic as specified below..

Standard for Carcinogenicity

Any substances either listed as "Group 1: the agent (mixture) is carcinogenic to humans" by the W.H.O International Agency for Research on Cancer (IRAC) or listed as " Clear Evidence of Carcinogenic Activity" by the U.S. National Toxicology Programme. (NTP)

Applicant needs to submit a sample for analysis at accredited Singapore Accreditation Council-Singapore Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (SAC-SAC-SINGLAS) Laboratories. Application shall be accompanied by an analytical report.
