The Green Network

Completed and launched on the 4th of June 2000, the Singapore Green Map is vital to the understanding of Singapore’s ecological status. As Singapore is a fully urbanised city-state, it is vital that we take stock of our eco-resources. Numerous sites of ecological importance exist in Singapore. These can range from nature sites and manicured parks to infrastructure like green shops and recycling stations. Prior to this, however, there has been no concerted effort to present Singapore’s green sites as a complete holistic map.

We hope that the Singapore Green Map will let you appreciate Singapore in a totally different way. Use it to explore the natural nooks and crannies, and see for yourself the diverse ecological treasures that Singapore has!

Project Green Map was an initiative proudly undertaken by the Singapore Environment Council with the green group under its care, The Green Volunteers Network.
