Working hand-in-hand with Government, the private sector and the environmental community, the SEC strives to educate and inspire the people - in schools, businesses and in the wider community - to help preserve and care for our own common home -Planet Earth.

Corporate Partners Programmes

  • Patron - to pledge $100,000 a year for 3 years.
  • Donor - to pledge $50,000 a year for 3 years.
  • Friend - to pledge $33,300 a year for 3 years.
  • Well Wisher - single donation, no minimum

I TAX EXEMPTION
(P, D, F, W) Because the Singapore Environment Council has been declared "an institution of public character" and is an approved charity, it can offer all Green Partners tax exemption. Patrons, Donors, and Friends may spread their donations over the required 3-year period in a format that suits their own tax needs.

II SEC LOGO RIGHTS
(P, D, F) As a Patron, Donor, or Friend, your company will be authorised to use the SEC "Green Partners" logo (above) to symbolise and advertise your support for the SEC and concern for the environment. This will act as a virtual "Green Label" confirmation that your company is a valued SEC associate.

III PROMOTION OF YOUR LOGO
(P, D, F, W) To acknowledge your support for the SEC and concern for the environment, your own company logo/name will be incorporated into the SEC letterhead (See example enclosed), and featured in SEC publications, such as our newsletter, "elements" , and annual report, for the term of your pledge. Your logo will also be displayed in a public space at SEC House. It will be attached to a wooden panel there, alongside a striking art-piece, a clay sculpture by local artist Hasan Zolkifly Rahim, which is located in the main foyer of SEC House. All incoming visitors will pass by this display.

IV A NICHE ON THE WEB
(P, D, F) The SEC Web page on the Internet, features interactive educational tools and information, as well as attractive graphics and animation. As a Patron, Donor, or Friend, your company will be given a banner space on the SEC Home Page, incorporating any graphics or text you may choose. The Web page will further provide a hypertext link to your company’s own Home Page. The SEC’s Home Page will be your gateway to a whole new market!

V "PROJECT ASSOCIATE" CREDITS
(P, D) In return for your donation as a Patron or Donor, your company gets to be acknowledged as a "Project Associate" for SEC projects, at no further cost to your company. You will be able to choose these projects or programmes from the SEC’s list of 41, on a first-come first-served basis. Your company will then be mentioned as a Project Associate on all materials relating to these selected projects or programmes.

VI HIGH PUBLIC PROFILE
(P, D, F, W) SEC Workshops and Seminars - Green Partners will be invited to give a talk at a selected number of the SEC’s projected eight school and club workshops, one school conference and one industry lecture or seminar, every year. This scheme offers unparalleled opportunities to reach out to the young, to Singapore’s future decision-makers and consumers, to the public in general, and to colleagues in the business sector. The SEC workshops, conferences and lectures will be high-profile, fully publicised events

VII KEEPING IN TOUCH
(P, D, F, W) Tuning In - Green Partners will of course get free copies of the SEC’s regular publications, such as our Annual Report and our regular newsletter, "elements", to keep in touch with what we are doing. There will also be concessions on special publications issued from time to time. Networking - The SEC commands impressive information and networking resources, offering assistance and advice to its partners. This capability will expand as the SEC builds up its own computer database and library. SEC House is a charmingly refurbished colonial bungalow on the side of Fort Canning Hill, offering a congenial environment for a cup of coffee and a chat on the verandahs with the Council’s helpful and enthusiastic officers.

VIII EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS TO REPRESENT YOUR INDUSTRY
(P) Patrons of the SEC will be given exclusive rights in being sole representatives of their particular sector of industry. Therefore within the Patron category there will only be, for example, one bank, one chemical company, one electronics company etc..
