SEC-Lee Foundation Singapore Environmental Achievement Award (Public Sector)
About the Award
The public sector category was re-introduced in 2012 to recognise the excellent environmental stewardship and green initiatives demonstrated by public organisations. This could be in terms of a strong EMS within the organisation or how these NPOs, IGOs, NGOs, etc. have contributed to the environmental cause.
Award Category Requirements
- Any government ministry, statutory boards, organs of state, other organisations and public services listed in Singapore Government Directory (http://www.sgdi.gov.sg/)
- Any non-profit organisations (NPOs) which include inter-governmental organisations (IGOs) and non-governmental organisations (NGOs), registered in Singapore
- Some examples of public sector organisations (Ministry of Manpower, Energy Market Authority, Changi General Hospital, Pioneer Junior College, Children's Cancer Foundation, NKF, etc.)
- Applicants for this award are excluded from the following categories: Manufacturing, Services and Regional
