About SEC Volunteers
Our volunteers seek to increase public participation in environmental protection by providing hands-on activities and programmes to turn awareness into action. It attracts all sectors of the community, from students to retirees. Since its inauguration, it has grown from 50 to 1,000 strong and it is still expanding.
It has initiated and facilitated a host of programmes and activities designed to promote and cultivate environmental education and appreciation in Singapore, which include conducting assembly talks and workshops in schools and corporations, as well as public roadshows and green fairs. The group also conducts regular activities such as environmental activities, enrichment workshops and volunteer induction programme.
