SEC advocates and promotes a green lifestyle and seeks to do this at the community level through this public event. The Singapore G1 injects an element of fun through the use of various vehicle races involving different sectors of the community. SEC hopes to achieve the following results through the Singapore G1:
Promote sustainable urban development
Provide platform to learn about the role of innovation and collaboration in sustainability
Highlight the importance of greener urban mobility by promoting public transport, alternative modes of transport, green vehicles & responsible car ownership, and
Educate school children and the public about eco-friendly options for everyday life
